Kiwi’s Down Happy Pig’s 6-3 in a social thriller in Manilla.
Tuesday 17-Jul-07
The weekly social run around continues with the odd organised game here and there. Thanks to Aaron Littlewood who set up the Kiwi’s V Happy Pig’s. The Kiwi’s won the game comfortably in the end but the score line didn’t truly reflect the closeness of the game.
Below are more pictures from the wonderful Louise Leonard from the previous week’s game.

The Happy Pig’s are actually a much under-rated team. They have good ball carriers, great play makers and speed to burn. Perhaps their main weakness is lack of cohesion. However, with more time together, this can be overcome so watch out teams in the Autumn league.
The Kiwi team played well, especially on defense. Everyone substituted frequently which was great but that was probably due to the fact they only had 4 subs. Hallmian did a 360 by first jumping ship and playing for the Happy Pigs, but came around when the Kiwi’s didn’t have enough players.
